The Conyngham Valley Historical Society hosted a Memories & More program entitled "Military History Comes Alive" featuring the Stuart Tank Memorial Association on November 4, at 1 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Conyngham.
There was a great turnout, and the program was very interesting and well received.
The Conyngham Valley Historical Society will be hosting three upcoming Concerts at the Gazebo. The gazebo is located on the grounds of the Conyngham Borough Building at 215 Main Street.
The first concert will feature “The Two of Us” and has been rescheduled to August 13 starting at 6 PM. The husband-wife duo will perform both vocal and instrumental numbers ranging from “Oldies” to more recent tunes.
The Conyngham Valley Historical Society held its annual Mothers’ Day Tea on Sunday, May 7th honoring the special women in our lives.
The fifty plus guests enjoyed a delicious assortment of savories and sweets paired with specialty teas.
The guests were entertained by choral group from the Hazleton Area High School singing show tunes and popular numbers both past and present. There was also a door prize drawing held at the end of the event.
